
Adrian Suciu began his studies at Salzburg’s Mozarteum Music University from the age of 16, completing the piano section of the Master of Arts (MA) summa cum laudae in 2005, having, in the same time, a Yamaha scholarship at the Accademia Musicale di Firenze, the class of the famous pianist Lazar Berman. At this renowned university he continued his musical training through studies in orchestra conducting sections (Professor Dennis Russell-Davies), coral conducting, organ, and Gregorian music (Prof. Albert Anglberger). He participated in masterclasses supported by Prof. Gabriel Amiras (Trossingen / Germany), Klaus von Wildemann (director of musical studies at the Munich State Opera). Adrian Suciu collaborated as accompaniment master and assistant conductor at the festivals: Erl / Austria, Innsbruck Baroque Days, Chiemgauer Festspiele and European Passau / Germany Festival, Salzburg Festival, Baroque Tbilisi Festival, assisting conductors such as Ivor Bolton, Hans Graf, Gustav Kuhn, Leo Hussain, Fabio Luisi, Jordi Saval, etc. He was employed as a piano accompaniament master and assistant conductor at the State Theater in Fürth and Passau / Germany and at the Salzburg State Theater as a permanent collaborator. He is also a permanent collaborator of the Summer Academy at the Mozarteum University and the Masterclasses of the European Academic Weeks Montepulciano / Italy. As an accompanying pianist he collaborated with world-famous lyric artists such as: Francisco Araiza, Kurt Rydl, Robert Hale, Barbara Bonney, Edith Mathis, Grace Bumbry, Diana Damrau etc.
