
Born in 1985, in the Republic of Armenia, Lia Davtyan has held a lifelong passion for music and the arts. From a very young age she has been actively involved in playing the violin and acting in school events. Later, she performed as a violinist in local cultural events and competitions.
Lia Davtyan also played internationally at festivals, workshop programs, and chamber/symphony orchestra performances.
Studies
In 2003, Lia Davtyan began her bachelor’s degree in music education and violin performing art at Yerevan State Musical College. She then pursued her master’s degree in music pedagogy and violin performance at Yerevan State Conservatory. In 2025, she graduated with a second master’s in arts of social science. She majored in cultural management at the Estonian Music and Theater Academy and the Estonian Business School.
During her studies, she attended and benefited from violin masterclasses.

Pedagogical Activity
Prof. Lia Davtyan had been teaching throughout the UAE, Qatar, and in the music schools of the Republic of Armenia.
She worked as the assistant of a violin professor at Southeastern Louisiana University. She also served as a guest lecturer in the AIESEC exchange program in Europe, Lithuania.
Artistic Activity of Lia Davtyan
She worked at the Emporia State University Chamber Orchestra as a concertmaster. She served as an assistant of the concertmaster at the Emporia State University Symphony Orchestra. She was also a concertmaster of the second violins at the symphony orchestra of the “Classica Hugs” festival-academy.
Since 2023, Lia Davtyan has been performing chamber and solo performances. She collaborates with the “Classical Hugs” festival guest artists in Estonia.
