Persona
In silence, silence speaks loud…
In noise, the noise fades out.
In love, the world is perfect;
In hate, it turns to defect.
In rain, we start to shiver;
In sun, we slowly wither.
In happiness, we long to stay;
In sorrow, we choose to pray.
We cherish the night, we enjoy the day.
We love the tide, we treasure the bay.
We adore the heat, we savor the cold.
We value silver, but we choose the gold.
We like to sit, we love to walk,
We care to hear, we crave to talk.
We covet laughing, but we often cry,
We prefer to live, yet live to die.
We are different, yet still the same—
That’s why the silence is so loud
and the noise is so tame.
To the
The words to the papers,
the water to the vapors,
the hands to the clock,
the door to the knock.
The gold to the winner,
the grace to the sinner,
the judge to the crime,
the poet to the rhyme.
The key to the safe,
the stone to the grave,
the sound to the call,
the leaves to the fall.
The joy to the life,
the death to the fight,
the bells to the church,
the cries of the hurt.
Everything, all together,
has its purpose and its matter
You
In a world full of lies,
You are the truth that I seek.
In a world full of goodbyes,
You are the stay that I need.
With no end to the galaxy,
You are the second that matters;
In a place full of mimicry,
Your face is the beacon that shatters.
When you enter, I can tell—
Without looking, I can feel.
Your gaze weaves a spell;
My soul you always steal.
Did you ever look at me?
I’m never too sure…
Maybe it’s best to just let it be;
Perhaps, you are too pure
