The Creative Writing Masterclass, now in its 8th edition and highly appreciated, is designed to unlock your creativity, stimulate connections between ideas, and refine your expression in ways you might not have imagined. It’s described as a kind of “mental gymnastics” that helps you become a writer with broader vision, richer ideas, and a more fluent and confident style.

Under the guidance of Florin Dochia — a writer and teacher with vast experience — this masterclass combines high-level creativity with professionalism, offering an inspirational and transformative learning experience.

The program runs daily in the mornings (about 4 hours per day), using Romanian mainly, and concludes with a Poetry and Prose Recital on the stage of the “Antim Ivireanu” House of Culture in Snagov. After the recital, participants’ works will be published in the literary magazines coordinated by the master.

All participants will receive a participation diploma and books offered by Florin Dochia.

• Participation fee: 210 Euro
• Costs for accommodation and meals can be paid separately or together with the course fee.

How to Register

To register for the course you must:

2. Pay the course fee by bank transfer to the account of Asociatia Join4Arts, CIF 52132900, ING Bank, București, IBAN: RO96INGB0000999918429474 (în RON) SWIFT: INGBROBU or by PayPal., with instructions to include the participant’s name and “Creative Writing” on the payment order;
3. Send an email to festivaluldearte@gmail.com with proof of payment (and, if applicable, proof of accommodation and meals).
4. Registration deadline: June 30.

Enrollment is confirmed only once full payment has been made. The fee is refundable only if the masterclass is canceled due to insufficient registrations for the instructor.

Additionally, a discount of 40 Euro applies if the fee is paid by March 15.

What the Fee Includes

The participation fee covers:

• Lessons, mentoring and coaching, theoretical courses and practical applications
• Use of study and poetry recital facilities
• Participation diploma
• Free admission to all Masterclasses events at the Festival of Arts
• Photos and video recordings from the course

Accommodation and Meals

For those who request lodging and meals, costs are separate. The festival can arrange accommodation and meals at Complex Casa Alex Snagov, where the instructors also stay, for 42 Euro per person per day (including accommodation and three meals). The guesthouse offers amenities such as a swimming pool, tennis and football fields, ping-pong and billiards tables, generous spaces, and rooms for courses.
