Graduate of Shanghai Conservatory of Music
Liu Shibo holds a master’s degree from the Shanghai Conservatory of Music, where he was awarded a scholarship for advanced study abroad. During his academic career, he continued his musical education in Hamburg and at the University of Drama in Germany, further refining his interpretative and performance skills.
Mentorship Under Renowned Piano Masters
Throughout his musical journey, Liu Shibo has studied under prominent teachers including Wang Xiaoqiang and Mauro Lo Conti. He currently studies with Professor Li Yuduo, a distinguished successor of the Russian Negoz Piano School, inheriting a rich lineage of technical and artistic tradition.

He also represented the Shanghai Conservatory of Music at the Hamburg Concert Hall during the 40th Anniversary of Diplomatic Relations between Shanghai and Hamburg, performing at the Centennial Piano and Piano Works Music Festival, where he received outstanding critical response.

In recent years, Liu Shibo has focused on studio recording and music publishing. In 2023, he released his personal 3CD album “31 Tchaikovsky Piano Works”, jointly published by Guangzhou Xingwai Audio Visual Publishing Co., Ltd. and Beijing Television Art Center Co., Ltd.
The album was selected for Sony’s music catalog, and he has signed a series of upcoming recordings featuring works by Beethoven, Clementi, Schumann, and other major composers.
Professor at Shanghai Institute of Visual Arts and Xianda College
Liu Shibo currently serves as a piano instructor at the Shanghai Institute of Visual Arts and Xianda College of Shanghai University of Foreign Languages. Alongside his successful performance career, he is also a dedicated and highly effective educator.

He regularly serves as a judge in national piano competitions and is invited to give masterclasses in Shanghai, Qingdao, Jiangxi, Dalian, and other major cultural centers.
