Invisible Presence
The rain spoke to me about you, each drop a whisper unheard
Somehow it covered in dew each tree, each leaf and each bird
To reach me, it made the world wet with messages you never sent
I listened intently because the rain said it all, then it went
The sun mentioned you at sunrise, the way it slowly began
enlightening forests and skies with coloured horizons and then
its warmth like a touch in the air, its sunbeams surrounding my face
made me believe you were there, invisible in time and space
The blossoms on branches have smiled and opened their eyes just to see
The earth bringing spring once again, especially to set us free
And everything happens because life shines just for us every day
Eternal in space and in time, no matter if here… or away
Too Divided
why must we slice this world in two?
those who don’t and those who do
those who freeze and those who care
those who take and those who share
always two: is it not so?
those for yes and those for no
those who love – those who love not
winter cold and summer hot
those who leave and those who stay
always between night and day
thieves and angels, wrong and right
some for darkness, some for light
friends and enemies aside
uniting just to divide…
those who win and those who lose
those who fear and those who choose
fighters, cowards, rich and poor
forgetting what it’s all for…
why divide the world in two?
one side me and one side you
Immaculate Reflection
a diamond shines in many ways
in sunlight… it’s complete
and many sides and sparkling rays
are brilliant and neat
as always, as the world evolves
each moment it receives
the surface of all days dissolves
as dew upon the leaves
a universe expands in time
in diamonds, branches grow
a soul as well may always shine
just like a diamond glow
still breathing the incense of light
a sky reflecting blue
with every day, brighter than bright
immaculately true
