Spring

A girl was crying 
while a man was eating 
with his feet tight 
and his toes risen 
and all around 
trees were blooming 
in the great annual
God's poetic reappearance 
before waiting gracefully 
in the backstage of winter 
with a curtain of flowers 
in front of Him 
that will delicately fall
and our eyes will see 
the beauty of being.


True love 

You fell in love with someone with wings
that flew only in your imagination.
Because you were intoxicated 
with nature's smells 
you couldn't see 
that she was shallow 
and glued to the Earth
like a wet worm.

Another spring will come 
and you'll have hallucinations 
with beautiful faces 
flying like angels
but the warmth 
of the season 
will heal the eyes
of your wisdom.


Grief

Grief is a well 
as deep as your sorrow.
You can drown 
in its water 
or can rise 
pure
smelling 
like the flowers 
of Heaven
