Instrumentalist soloist, second violin party chief in the Radio Chamber Orchestra, violinist Lucian Gabriel Dănilă has a rich activity as a concert soloist and as a member of various chamber music ensembles. Since 2003 is the first violin of the Arioso Quartet, a band with a rich concert activity. The latest ongoing project is “Stabat Mater” by G. B. Pergolesi, a show in which music is associated with contemporary dance.
In a decoupage of his rich artistic activities, some performances are remarkable as a concert soloist on the stage of Philharmonic Orchestras of lasi, Satu-Mare, Giurgiu, Târgoviste, of the Orchestra of the National Music University in Bucharest, and of the Radio Chamber Orchestra, as well as the recitals on prestigious scenes – the Romanian Athenaeum, the Radio Hall, the Moldavian Philharmonic Hall, the Ateneu Hall of the Bacau Philharmonic.
As instrumental soloist, second violinist of the Radio Chamber Orchestra and as concert master of the Muntenia Philharmonic Orchestra in Târgovişte, Lucian Gabriel Dănilă was appreciated by all the conductors with whom he collaborated and, implicitly, by the audience, for the professionalism and the quality of the interpreted solos.
Lucian Gabriel Dănilă was formed at the Iași violin school, graduating from the ”Octav Băncilă” College of Arts, in the class of Professor Veronica Rotar and Professor Anton Diaconu, member of the Voces Quartet, as well as in the chamber music class of Professor Dan Prelipcean, also a member of the prestigious quartet. He continued professional training at the National University of Music in Bucharest, violin class of Conf. Univ. Dr. Ladislau Csendes and the chamber music class of Prof. Univ. Dr. Şerban Dimitrie Soreanu. For his further artistic improvement, he also attended master classes with professors Octavian Ratiu, Eugen Sarbu, Wolfgang Marschner and Wolfgang Laufer (member of the Fine Arts Quartet).
He has won numerous awards at national (Baia Mare, Ploieşti, Constanţa, Bacau, Timişoara, Suceava) and international competitions.
As a soloist and as a member in the quartet or orchestra ensembles, Lucian Gabriel Dănilă has performed numerous concert tours in France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Greece, Japan, South Korea, Lebanon, etc.
