Conf. Univ. Dr. Diana Dembinski Vodă – composition, harmony

Conf. Univ. Dr. Diana Dembinski Vodă is a graduate of the composition class of Prof. Dan Constantinescu. She studied orchestration with Tiberiu Olah, musical forms and analyzes with Stefan Niculescu and Constantin Simionescu, music theory with Prof. Dan Buciu and music history with Grigore Constantinescu and Vasile Iliuț.

She attended courses in Poland, at Kazimierz-Dolny and Germany, at Darmstadt. She was a guest professor in the Erasmus-Vienna 2007 program.

Her symphonic works, choirs and chamber music are performed in concerts, national and international festivals in the country and abroad.

At the same time, she has a sustained concert activity as a pianist, collaborating with mezzosoprano Claudia Codreanu, the presence of this duo being remarked at the editions of the international festivals SIMN and Meridian, in recent years.

She is a member of UCMR and UCMR-ADA.

Composer Diana Dembinski Vodă is currently professor at the National University of Music Bucharest, Composition department, where she teaches Harmony and Choral Arrangements.
